| Earth is the only known place in the universe that has a biosphere. Earth has the mix of ingrediants to enable living organisms to survive and multiply. Over millions of years, millions of organisms have evolved. Many have come and gone. In the past few hundred thousand years a creature has evolved that is able to change the planet to make it better for it. In the past two hundred years these creatures have learned how to use the planet for itself. In the past dozen decades they have learned how to mix the ingrediants of the planet to create things that have never existed before. Humans are changing the Earth and the balance of the biosphere. |
